I like it. It seems like an interesting idea and the website looks great. I am downloading the audio now. Your album art is AMAZING! I’ll listen to the thing at work. Later.

Compliments to the chef! I thought that you struck a fine balance, a great story with enough to fire the imagination without becoming crass. Must sample the wine cellar upon my return, please save me a quiet table for two by the fire.

Pip, I love the way you read. You have a great confidence to your voice, and there is a natural flow to the reading. Well done. My only suggestion would be to make it even racier. Let your hair down, have some fun with it, and really get my pulse going. Can’t wait to see what you have up next.

Pip, bravo on the first episode of EalC. Well done.
That said, I think your first episode is more romance than erotica. The sensual aspects were certainly there, but as soon as the story touched on the erotic, the curtain was pulled closed and the focus made vague, skimming past the erotic. This story, as well done as it is, feels more like mainstream romance. (Yes, I’m a romance reader. Nora Roberts is my guilty secret.)
I’m not advocating diving into the gutter, but I think you aught to think about opening the bedroom door and bringing the listener into the bedroom with you. Get racy. Bring the fuzzy camera into focus. Give them a reason to ban you from itunes. Show the act of love in all its glory. By all means, it must flow from the story and erotica is driven by emotions, not motions, but the motions still need to be there.
My feelings won’t be hurt if you disagree, but I wanted to offer my thoughts as an author in the genre. I’ve been listening to Chasing the Bard and cheerfully did my part for double trouble, so please don’t take this as being negative, because I have nothing but respect for you and your work. I like the way you write, and I like your podcast novel. You’re a great example and encouragement to me as an author. Rock on.
Thanks for doing what you do.

I take all comments under advisement. Actually I am fully aware I have not gone as deep into it as I could- and will. But this is an experiment and a learning experience for me. I hope as I go along I will get braver. Hang in with me as I learn =) This exposure of the author thing is something that I will get used to.

Interesting first foray, while the naughty librarian is a fairly common character in erotic fiction; this piece took me completely by surprise.
I agree that this was a fairly tame piece, however, I value quality above graphic detail. Can’t wait for you next piece.

I loved pagan references in this one. All hail Great Mother! Thank you for this, your story made me happy.
