JK Rowling.. I’m with you!
Posted by admin on October 24th, 2008 filed in NewsWell yesterday was interesting- EalC popped into the top 100 literature in itunes. I was surprised. I was pleased. And THEN itunes sent me an email from itunesabuse@apple.com. Apparently someone complained, and that was the end EalC could no longer appear on the directory. Too filthy for itunes. No explanation. No chance to ask why.
Every author dreams of this day- I am now among luminaries as Rowling, Steinbeck and Judy Blume. And while I am annoyed and bent out of shape that apparently the directory that 70% of all podcast listeners use is censoring what is puts out, you can still fight the power.
Here’s how you can still use itunes to get your EalC. Make sure in itunes you are in the podcast tab. Then click in the toolbar on Advanced, click on subscribe to podcast and then paste in this url
http://feeds.feedburner.com/EroticaALaCarte
And if you have a podcast post one of the fabulous promos in your show. I appreciate everyone’s support and kind comments. And remember above all sex is dangerous and filthy- where as violence is so much better for you! =p

Wow, iTunes, really? REALLY? It’s not as though the title of the show was misleading, or that Pip didn’t give enough warning at the opening of the episode that it was going to be a little saucy. How pathetic.
Sorry, Pip. I’ll use that URL to keep getting your episodes.

Pip, if you setup the RSS feed with itms://feedurl that will auto subscribe a person in iTunes just as easily.

I suggest you should take this as an oppotunity to get yourself into other podcasting directories…since iTunes is too…prudish to have your podcast in it.

Wow,
This is most interesting. Especially considering there are VERY explicit podcasts on iTunes. That is all I am saying. But it makes a heck of a tagline.

You’re right there, A Secret! There’s some BDSM diary stuff, that’s way stranger than EaC out there…
Pip, is there some way we can help you? Writing complaint mail to iTunes maybe? Do you think that would help?
